Videos from BFC

Hi all, well what an amazing few months it has been for Debbie and I. First we have our membership approved to become apart of Bikers For Christ as we are the first members here in NZ what a challenge we have before us.

We attend Taupo Baptist Church (www.taupobaptist.org.nz) and just recently had a Men’s Month. So we were asked if we could do a motorcycle theme and we had 7 Motorcycles to display.

All owned by men and women members of our Church.  Men's Month is about reaching out to Men, recognising that Church is typically 80% women 20% men.  Each sermon is based on “being men”.  You can listen to these on the Church Website I believe.  Each bike owner was asked to share their passion for motorcycling and introduce their bikes specs etc.  I made up display cards for each bike.

I was also asked to share my testimony, my passion for motorcycles and where and how that all started and also to spend 10 minutes introducing Bikers For Christ.  You know, I never would have thought I’d use these words to describe Church (I had a blast), in the past it’s been – going out of a feeling of obligation, I really should...

I have never seen the Church so full, people were just so enthusiastic, and many many people offering support and encouragement for BFC.

Just awesome!

When I was presenting BFC and mentioned that our Board of Directors was “The Father, Son and Holy Spirit " got a whole lot of very enthusiastic Amen’s!! So God is awesome, the timing couldn’t have been more superb, we just got approved as new members, men's month at Church, bikes on display, a whole bunch of men there that don’t do Church and an opportunity to introduce the Ministry, it was GREAT!

We look forward to seeing Bikers For Christ grow across New Zealand and to see peoples life's changed for the better......

Bless you all

Gavin & Debbie
